We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Store Layout Planner to join our team. Key Responsibilities

The Store Layout Planner will play a critical role in transforming our retail spaces into efficient, customer-centric environments. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Design and Adaptation: Develop and refine store layouts based on established design principles, ensuring optimal space utilization and alignment with company sales targets. Adapt layouts to meet the unique requirements of different store formats and market conditions.
• Display Equipment Selection: Choose the most suitable display equipment from a predefined selection to enhance product visibility and customer engagement while maintaining consistency across stores.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including merchandising, operations, and store teams, to ensure seamless execution of store layouts. Lead natural work teams to obtain necessary approvals and foster alignment throughout the process.
• Space Allocation and Compliance: Maintain a balanced allocation between primary and secondary store spaces, adhering to generic design guidelines tailored to specific store types. Conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with design standards across all markets.
• Project Management and Timeline Adherence: Follow the store approval process meticulously, ensuring all projects are completed within set timelines. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to keep them informed of progress and any changes.
• Site Visits and Progress Monitoring: Conduct regular site visits to assess implementation progress, capture structural elements, and address any discrepancies. Provide timely updates to ensure projects stay on track.
• Customer-Centric Approach: Stay attuned to evolving shopper needs and preferences. Continuously refine store layouts to enhance the shopping experience and meet changing customer demands.
• Technical and Legal Compliance: Verify specifications for store fixtures and equipment to ensure accuracy during procurement. Adhere to legal and industry standards, including building codes, while staying updated on architectural trends and innovations.
• Strategic Contribution: Contribute to the development and review of the company’s space management strategy. Create final design intent drawings using AutoCAD or Revit for vendor cost estimation, elevations, and renderings as required for approvals.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Sciences or Architecture, is preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a grocery retail setting is ideal. Fresh graduates with a strong academic background and a passion for retail design are also encouraged to apply.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in intermediate computer skills, including familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD and Revit, is essential. Knowledge of space planning tools and retail-specific software will be a significant advantage.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Arabic is a plus and will be considered an asset.
