About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and culturally attuned Social Media Manager for X to represent a rapidly expanding crypto platform based in Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities

• Trend Monitoring and Content Strategy: Continuously track X trends, memes, competitor activity, and influential accounts to identify opportunities for timely and relevant content. Stay ahead of breaking news and industry developments to ensure the brand remains at the forefront of conversations.
• Community Engagement: Build and maintain an active presence within the Crypto Twitter community by crafting thoughtful, entertaining, and strategic replies. Develop meaningful relationships with influencers, creators, brands, and users to foster a loyal and engaged following.
• Content Creation and Copywriting: Develop engaging social content, including tweets, threads, memes, and other creative formats, that reflects the brand’s voice and communicates its value proposition. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to translate campaigns, product launches, and initiatives into compelling content for X.
• Real-Time Adaptability: Respond swiftly to rapidly developing conversations and news, adapting working hours when necessary to capitalize on important moments. Maintain a high level of responsiveness while ensuring content quality and brand alignment.
• Brand Voice and Strategy Refinement: Contribute to the continuous refinement of the brand’s voice, tone, and social media strategy based on community feedback, performance metrics, and emerging trends. Bring creative ideas and expertise to broader marketing initiatives where additional strengths in content or social media can add value.

Requirements

• Expertise in Social Media and Crypto Culture: A deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and community-building principles, with a strong knowledge of cryptocurrency, blockchain, and Crypto Twitter culture. Genuine familiarity with the community’s language, humor, and conventions is essential.
• Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in building, managing, or actively engaging a social media following on X, with a track record of creating content that drives engagement and awareness.
• Copywriting and Content Creation: Exceptional social copywriting skills with the ability to craft concise, entertaining, and culturally relevant content. Experience creating memes and understanding the formats and references that perform well within online crypto communities.
• Industry Awareness: A strong awareness of current crypto narratives, influential personalities, projects, and industry developments. Ability to identify opportunities quickly and respond to fast-moving conversations without compromising quality or brand alignment.
• Adaptability and Ownership: The ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and adapt priorities in a rapidly changing environment. Strong communication, creativity, judgment, and community engagement skills are critical.
• Technical Skills: Basic graphic design and video editing skills are a plus. Experience creating content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Reddit, or other social channels is also beneficial. Additional marketing capabilities, such as content writing or broader content strategy, are welcome.
