Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Executive – Administration to join our team at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts on Ummahat Island 1, Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the backbone of our HR operations, ensuring seamless administration, compliance, and employee relations while supporting our leadership team in fostering a productive and harmonious workplace. Your responsibilities will span a wide range of HR functions, from monitoring employee relations and recruitment processes to maintaining accurate records and delivering exceptional administrative support. This position is ideal for a dedicated professional with a passion for human resources, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
As a Human Resources Executive – Administration, your core duties will include:
- Employee Relations and Compliance: Assist in tracking, resolving, and following up on employee relations issues while ensuring full compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws, as well as company policies and standards. Serve as a liaison between employees and management to address concerns, requests, and questions regarding HR programs, policies, and guidelines.
- Recruitment and Hiring Support: Monitor and assist in the hiring and recruitment processes to ensure alignment with legal requirements and organizational needs. Maintain meticulous records of interview documents, I-9 forms, and other employment-related paperwork.
- Administrative and Operational Support: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance, including scheduling annual employee surveys, managing HR-related logistics, and responding to inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and discretion. Ensure the accurate maintenance and confidentiality of all employee records and files.
- Leadership Collaboration: Support the HR management team by identifying and reporting trends or issues related to employee relations, workplace culture, and policy adherence. Collaborate with leadership to enhance HR initiatives and employee engagement strategies.
- Policy Dissemination and Training: Effectively communicate HR policies, programs, and updates to employees, ensuring clarity and understanding. Assist in training, evaluating, and coaching employees as needed to support their professional development and alignment with company goals.
- Workplace Safety and Security: Adhere to all company safety and security policies, reporting any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions promptly. Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information and uphold the highest standards of data security.
- Guest and Team Interaction: Welcome and acknowledge guests and employees in accordance with company standards, fostering a positive and welcoming environment. Utilize clear and professional communication in all interactions, whether in person, over the phone, or in writing.
- Physical and Technical Requirements: Perform job duties that may include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Utilize computers and point-of-sale systems to enter and retrieve work-related information efficiently.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Education: A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required. Additional coursework or certifications in human resources or a related field are a plus.
- Experience: A minimum of one year of related work experience in human resources, administration, or a similar role is preferred. Prior supervisory experience is a valuable asset.
- Professionalism and Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels. Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service-oriented mindset are essential.
- Organizational Abilities: Demonstrated proficiency in managing multiple tasks, prioritizing responsibilities, and maintaining meticulous attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with HR software, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic computer applications. Experience with point-of-sale systems or data entry is beneficial.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform light physical tasks, including lifting and moving objects up to 10 pounds, as well as standing or sitting for extended periods.
