In this role, you’ll bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, transforming ambiguous requirements into robust, testable, and deployable features. Your expertise will span the entire software lifecycle—from requirements clarification and design to development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing production support. Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Product Ownership: Lead the development of critical product features, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. Define acceptance criteria, collaborate with stakeholders, and oversee the entire delivery pipeline—from initial concept to production deployment and monitoring.
• Full-Stack Development: Build and maintain high-performance web applications using modern technologies, including React and TypeScript/Node.js for the frontend and backend, PostgreSQL for data management, and event-driven architectures on AWS. Leverage cloud infrastructure to create scalable, resilient, and maintainable systems.
• Technical Leadership: Contribute to architectural decisions, enforce clean code standards, and mentor junior engineers. Drive adoption of best practices in software design, testing, and DevOps to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Automated Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain comprehensive test suites, including unit tests and Playwright end-to-end tests, to ensure code quality and reduce regression risks. Integrate AI-assisted tools for code review and QA to accelerate development while maintaining high standards.
• AI-Enhanced Workflows: Harness AI coding agents, AI-driven code review platforms, and automated QA tools to streamline development processes, enhance productivity, and deliver higher-quality software faster.
• Production Operations: Monitor applications, troubleshoot incidents, and implement corrective actions to ensure system stability. Proactively identify operational risks and optimize performance to meet business demands.
• Documentation and Collaboration: Clearly document technical decisions, design rationale, and process changes to foster knowledge sharing within the team. Act as a technical liaison between engineering, product, and domain experts to ensure seamless collaboration.
• Risk Management and Delivery: Proactively assess project risks, manage timelines, and ensure predictable delivery of features. Hold yourself and the team accountable for meeting commitments while adapting to evolving requirements.
• Knowledge Sharing: Share insights, best practices, and lessons learned to elevate the collective expertise of the engineering pod. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ Years of Full-Stack Experience: A proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying production-grade web applications with expertise in both frontend and backend technologies.
• Full-Stack Proficiency: Deep proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js, React, and relational databases like PostgreSQL. Experience with data modeling, optimization, and database-driven applications.
• Cloud and Distributed Systems: Hands-on experience with AWS or a comparable cloud platform, including event-driven architectures, microservices, and scalable backend systems.
• Testing and QA: Strong discipline in writing and maintaining automated tests, including unit tests and Playwright E2E tests, to ensure code reliability and reduce technical debt.
• AI Integration: Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools, such as AI coding agents, automated code review platforms, and AI-driven QA solutions, to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Regulated Environments: Experience working in highly regulated industries like fintech, tax, accounting, or legal is a significant advantage, though not mandatory. Familiarity with compliance requirements is a plus.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose complex technical challenges independently, propose innovative solutions, and mitigate risks that could impact delivery timelines.
