Position Overview

Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled ASSOCIATE EMBC ADVISOR to join our dynamic team in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The Associate EMBC (Employee Medical Benefits Center) Advisor will serve as a key liaison between employees, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless coordination and support for medical benefit-related inquiries and processes.

Key Responsibilities

The Associate EMBC Advisor will be responsible for a wide range of duties to enhance the employee experience and operational efficiency within the healthcare benefits framework. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Benefits Administration: Providing expert guidance and support to employees regarding medical benefits, including eligibility, coverage details, and claims processes. Ensuring accurate and timely resolution of inquiries to maintain high levels of employee satisfaction.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Acting as the frontline representative for the EMBC, delivering professional and empathetic customer service to all stakeholders. Handling complex inquiries with a solutions-oriented approach while adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Maintaining meticulous records of employee interactions, benefits transactions, and case resolutions. Generating detailed reports to identify trends, track performance metrics, and support strategic decision-making within the organization.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Serving as a bridge between employees, healthcare providers, and internal departments such as HR, Finance, and IT. Facilitating clear and consistent communication to ensure alignment and resolve any discrepancies in benefits-related matters.
  • Compliance & Policy Adherence: Staying abreast of local and international healthcare regulations, company policies, and industry best practices. Ensuring all advisory activities comply with legal and organizational standards to mitigate risks and uphold the integrity of the benefits program.
  • Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to streamline and enhance existing processes within the EMBC. Proposing innovative solutions to improve efficiency, reduce response times, and elevate the overall quality of service delivery.

Qualifications & Skills

Candidates for the Associate EMBC Advisor position must possess a blend of educational background, professional experience, and interpersonal skills to excel in this role. Ideal applicants will meet the following criteria:

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Human Resources, or a related field. Relevant certifications in healthcare administration or benefits management are highly desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in healthcare benefits administration, customer service, or a related advisory role. Prior experience in a multinational or corporate healthcare environment is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with benefits administration software or CRM systems. Experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a customer-centric mindset are essential.
  • Language Requirements: Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Arabic is advantageous but not required.
