Position Overview

As an Equity Research Analyst based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, you will play a pivotal role in driving informed investment decisions by conducting in-depth analysis of stocks and financial markets. Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic position, your core responsibilities will include:

• Data Analysis and Insight Generation: Analyze financial data, market trends, and statistical information to uncover investment opportunities and assess potential risks. Your findings must be supported by robust reasoning and data-driven evidence.
• Investment Recommendations: Develop and present well-founded BUY, SELL, or HOLD recommendations to the investment committee, ensuring clarity and justification for each decision.
• Research Reporting: Collaborate on the preparation of comprehensive research reports that encapsulate your analysis and insights. These reports will be published to the broader investment community and media, enhancing the firm’s reputation and credibility.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with institutional investors to communicate research findings, respond to inquiries, and provide models or ad-hoc analysis tailored to their needs.
• Market Monitoring and Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of industry-specific news, market trends, and economic developments. Disseminate timely insights to internal and external stakeholders to inform strategic decision-making.
• Investor Relations Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with investor relations teams of portfolio companies to gather firsthand information and enhance the quality of your research.
• Primary Research Development: Design and execute independent research methodologies to validate market sentiment and identify emerging trends, ensuring your analysis remains cutting-edge and relevant.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with internal sales and trading teams to address market news, corporate actions, and reporting events. Establish and adhere to escalation protocols to ensure timely and effective responses to critical developments.
• Brand Representation: Represent the firm at conferences and industry events, articulating the company’s research capabilities and strengthening its market presence. Your interactions will contribute to attracting new clients and reinforcing the firm’s standing in the financial community.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required to establish a strong foundation in financial principles and market dynamics.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in financial analysis, with at least three years specifically in an Equity Research division. This hands-on experience will equip you with the expertise to navigate complex financial landscapes.
• Analytical Skills: Proven ability to conduct both quantitative and qualitative research, leveraging advanced analytical tools and methodologies to derive meaningful insights from financial data.
