About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Implementation Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the seamless setup, installation, configuration, and customization of advanced technical solutions, applications, and process designs tailored to meet our clients’ evolving technology and business needs. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering Hexagon’s cutting-edge software solutions to customers worldwide, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with the Smart Services Methodology (SSM) standards and processes.

Key Responsibilities

The Implementation Consultant will collaborate closely with clients to implement Hexagon products, both onsite and virtually, while adhering to project timelines and technical requirements. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Solution Deployment: Installing, configuring, and customizing software solutions such as Automation Integrity™, ControlWizard™, Cyber Integrity™, and PlantState Integrity™ to meet client specifications.
• Project Execution: Developing and executing project plans, including technology implementation, script configuration, data collection, and processing to achieve desired business outcomes.
• Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Providing hands-on technical assistance to clients during implementation, identifying and resolving system issues, and escalating complex problems to product and integration teams as needed.
• Client Training & Documentation: Conducting comprehensive training sessions for clients on product utilization and administration, while preparing detailed project documentation, including site completion reports, functional requirements, design documents, and lessons learned.
• Collaboration & Communication: Working effectively both independently and as part of cross-functional teams, including implementation services, technical support, and project management, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Compliance & Best Practices: Adhering to Industrial Control System (ICS) cybersecurity best practices and industry standards, implementing robust access management, data mapping, process documentation, and testing protocols.
• Administrative Duties: Completing project-related expense reports, timesheets, and activity reports (e.g., daily site reports, weekly status updates) in a timely and accurate manner to maintain project transparency and accountability.
• Pre-Sales Support: Contributing to pre-sales activities by providing strategic insights and efficiency recommendations to enhance implementation services and client satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following educational background and professional experience:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a STEM-based technology-related field, such as Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Process Technology.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Hands-on experience in designing, evaluating, advising, and implementing software solutions.
  • Strong expertise in configuring and managing Operating Systems (OS) in server environments.
  • Proficiency in basic and advanced networking principles, including IP addressing, router/switch configuration, and network protocols such as Telnet, FTP(s), and HTTP(s).
  • Experience with scripting (e.g., batch jobs) and database management, particularly Microsoft SQL.
  • Familiarity with Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and process control equipment.
  • Knowledge of networking access control and security measures.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the capacity to work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse teams. A professional demeanor and client-focused approach are essential.
