About the Role

Portia’s Cat Sitting is seeking dedicated and compassionate Cat Sitters in Riyadh to deliver exceptional in-home care for cats whose owners are away. This role requires traveling to clients’ residences to conduct scheduled visits while adhering to each cat’s personalized care plan. Responsibilities include providing meals, ensuring fresh water is available, maintaining clean litter boxes, engaging in playtime and companionship, administering prescribed medication when necessary, and sharing photo or video updates with clients following each visit. The position demands a high level of professionalism, reliability, and a genuine commitment to the well-being of the cats entrusted to your care.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to clients’ homes in Riyadh for scheduled visits as outlined in the care plan.
• Follow each cat’s specific dietary, hydration, and medication requirements with precision.
• Maintain clean and hygienic living spaces by regularly refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, and tidying designated areas.
• Engage cats in interactive play and provide companionship to ensure their emotional and physical well-being.
• Administer medications or treatments as directed by the client or veterinarian, ensuring accuracy and adherence to schedules.
• Capture and share updates with clients, including photos or videos, to reassure them of their cat’s condition and your attentive care.
• Communicate professionally with clients to address any concerns, provide updates, and ensure their complete satisfaction.

Requirements

• Must be a Saudi national.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Demonstrated love for cats and confidence in handling them with care and gentleness.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service-oriented mindset to interact effectively with clients.
• Proven trustworthiness, responsibility, and reliability in fulfilling commitments.
• Ability to follow detailed care instructions meticulously and adapt to varying routines.
• Comfortable working independently in clients’ homes, respecting their privacy and property.
• Willingness and ability to travel between multiple clients’ residences across Riyadh.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate clients’ needs.
• Prior experience in cat care, whether professionally or personally, is highly preferred.
