Professional Services Specialist – MPS & PCs

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and results-driven Professional Services Specialist – MPS & PCs to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering, implementing, and supporting Managed Printing Solutions (MPS) and PC infrastructure (Managed Services) for our valued clients. Your expertise will be instrumental in assessing client requirements, designing tailored solutions, and ensuring the seamless operation of their printing and computing environments. This position demands a blend of technical proficiency, problem-solving acumen, and exceptional customer service to drive client satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

As a Professional Services Specialist, your core responsibilities will include:

• Managed Printing Solutions (MPS):
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of client printing environments to identify inefficiencies and recommend optimized MPS strategies.
  • Deploy and configure MPS hardware and software, including print servers, multifunction printers, and print management/monitoring tools such as Web Ysoft, Jetadmin, PaperCut, or uniFLOW.
  • Integrate MPS solutions with existing IT infrastructure, ensuring compatibility with Active Directory and network policies.
  • Monitor and manage print fleets to maintain optimal performance and minimize operational disruptions.
  • Provide end-user and administrator training, along with detailed documentation to facilitate smooth adoption and usage.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve print-related issues promptly to ensure minimal downtime and uninterrupted productivity.
• PC Infrastructure (Managed Services):
  • Deploy and configure desktops, laptops, and peripherals in alignment with client-specific standards and requirements.
  • Install, maintain, and update operating systems, drivers, and productivity software to ensure system reliability and security.
  • Perform hardware diagnostics, upgrades, and replacements to sustain optimal performance and extend equipment lifecycle.
  • Support imaging and deployment tools to streamline device provisioning and management processes.
  • Ensure endpoint security compliance through proactive patch management and adherence to ITIL best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in IT services, with a strong focus on Managed Printing Solutions and PC support.
• In-depth knowledge of print server management, network printing protocols, and MPS platforms (e.g., HP, Lexmark, Develop).
• Proficiency in endpoint management tools and familiarity with ITIL practices for service delivery and improvement.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, coupled with strong communication and customer service skills to build and maintain client relationships.

Preferred Certifications

While not mandatory, the following certifications are highly valued and will enhance your candidacy:

• Network, Cloud, or Security certifications.
• Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
• Relevant MPS certifications from industry-leading vendors.
