HWO Leader – Hydraulic Workover Unit Operations Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HWO Leader to oversee Hydraulic Workover Unit (HWU) operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of hydraulic workover systems, well control methodologies, and downhole completion techniques. This role demands hands-on experience in deployment, rig-up, workover operations, and rig-down procedures, along with a deep knowledge of safety protocols, BOP (Blowout Preventer) systems, and wellhead/X-mas tree installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Hydraulic Workover Unit Operations: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of HWU equipment, configurations, and operational procedures to ensure seamless execution of workover activities.
• Well Control & Safety: Implement robust well control measures, including BOP and wellhead/X-mas tree installation, to mitigate risks and maintain operational integrity.
• Workover Execution: Lead the deployment, rig-up, and rig-down processes while overseeing workover operations to achieve project objectives efficiently and safely.
• Technical Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of snubbing stroke length and torque limits to optimize performance and prevent equipment damage.
• Workover Operations & Limitations: Identify and execute various types of workover operations compatible with HWU while understanding their operational constraints and best practices.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards throughout all phases of the workover process.

Qualifications & Experience

Candidates must have a proven track record in hydraulic workover operations, with hands-on experience in well control, BOP systems, and wellhead installations. Strong leadership skills, technical proficiency, and a commitment to safety are essential. Prior experience in managing workover operations with HWU is highly desirable.
