Job Purpose

The Delivery Driver plays a critical role in the company’s supply chain by transporting and delivering beverage products from distributor centers to customers. This position demands a commitment to accuracy, safety, and punctuality while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Fulfillment: Execute deliveries according to assigned routes and schedules, ensuring all products reach customers on time and in optimal condition.
• Documentation and Cash Handling: Accurately manage delivery documents and handle cash transactions, where applicable, with integrity and attention to detail.
• Product Integrity: Minimize product damage, returns, and delivery delays by adhering to proper handling and loading procedures.
• Customer Service: Provide professional and courteous service to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly to enhance satisfaction.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and operational integrity of the delivery vehicle, ensuring it meets safety and performance standards.
• Safety Compliance: Strictly follow road safety protocols, company policies, and all applicable regulations to ensure the well-being of the driver, vehicle, and public.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with the Warehouse, Sales, and Fleet Teams to streamline operations and resolve logistical challenges.
• Issue Reporting: Promptly report any delivery discrepancies, vehicle malfunctions, or customer concerns to the designated manager for resolution.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Valid heavy driving license with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience in delivery, distribution, or logistics is advantageous.
• Strong driving skills and a commitment to road safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Capacity to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and adapt to dynamic operational demands.
• Demonstrated discipline, self-motivation, accountability, and reliability in all aspects of the role.
