We are seeking a visionary Data Infrastructure Supervisor to lead our Group Digital IT and Technology team. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the design, implementation, and optimization of a cutting-edge data infrastructure using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise-wide machine learning and AI initiatives. Your expertise will empower our subsidiaries with data-driven insights, fostering strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

As the Data Infrastructure Supervisor, your responsibilities will encompass:

• Strategic Team Leadership: Guide a high-performing team of data engineers, analysts, and external consultants, assigning priorities, tracking deliverables, and fostering a culture of continuous learning. Provide technical mentorship, conduct performance evaluations, and champion professional growth initiatives.
• Data Infrastructure & Governance: Oversee end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion into Microsoft Fabric, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance. Optimize pipeline performance, manage workspaces, and enforce robust data governance frameworks to maintain enterprise-wide standards.
• Analytics & Business Intelligence (BI) Operations: Lead Power BI workspace management, including access controls, dashboard development, and interactive reporting. Collaborate with subsidiaries to implement best-in-class analytics practices, enabling data-centric decision-making.
• AI & Machine Learning Integration: Coordinate the deployment of machine learning models, integrating predictive analytics into operational workflows. Champion the adoption of generative AI tools, such as Copilot, to enhance productivity and innovation across the organization.
• Vendor & Resource Management: Act as the liaison between internal business units and external vendors, ensuring alignment with data infrastructure goals. Monitor cloud resource consumption and costs, implementing backcharging mechanisms and driving cost-efficiency improvements.

Qualifications & Requirements

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with:

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in deploying and managing Microsoft Fabric or Power BI solutions, with a proven track record of supervising cross-functional teams or external consultants.
• Professional certifications in Microsoft Fabric or Power BI are highly desirable and may be required, depending on the role’s specific needs.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. While formal education is valued, relevant certifications and practical experience take precedence.
