Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Supervisor-Engineering to join our team in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and preventative care of tools, appliances, and equipment to ensure operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include calibrating controls, identifying and operating shut-off valves, and managing inventory to support seamless facility operations. Additionally, you will conduct inspections, complete life safety checklists, and assist in the development of disaster response protocols. This position requires a proactive approach to guest service, with a focus on addressing repair requests promptly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

As a Supervisor-Engineering, your core duties will encompass a wide range of technical and supervisory tasks, including:

• Technical Maintenance and Operations: Install, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment. Calibrate all controls, gauges, meters, and other instrumentation to ensure optimal performance. Identify, locate, and operate shut-off valves as required for safety and operational efficiency.
• Inventory and Procurement: Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies to maintain an organized inventory. Maintain accurate logs for inventory and purchase orders to support procurement processes.
• Safety and Compliance: Complete life safety checklists, including fire-pump run tests and generator run tests. Inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Assist in the development and implementation of disaster response protocols to safeguard guests and staff.
• Guest Service and Repairs: Respond to and attend to guest repair requests with a high level of professionalism. Anticipate and address guests’ service needs to enhance their experience and satisfaction.
• Supervisory Duties: Collaborate with management to hire, train, schedule, evaluate, and motivate employees. Provide guidance, coaching, and discipline as necessary to foster a productive and cohesive team. Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and quality expectations.
• Operational Excellence: Identify opportunities to improve organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings. Implement innovative solutions to enhance overall performance and guest satisfaction.

Physical Requirements

This role demands a high level of physical activity, including:

• Visually inspecting tools, equipment, or machines to identify issues or maintenance needs.
• Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping to access equipment.
• Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying sizes and weights with precision.
• Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods to ensure continuous oversight of operations.
• Navigating stairs and service ramps to access different areas of the facility.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A technical, trade, or vocational school degree is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in engineering or facilities management.
• Supervisory Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Certifications: No specific licenses or certifications are required for this position.
