Position Overview

Nestlé Waters KSA is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Operator to join the team at the Almanhal Water Factory, located in Almadinah Al Munawarah’s Industrial City. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of our production lines, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. The Operator will be responsible for machine tending, monitoring production parameters, and performing essential maintenance tasks to support the factory’s operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Verification: Verify the quantities of raw and packaging materials received from the warehouse against production orders to prevent breakdowns or delays in the production process.
• Machine Operation and Monitoring: Operate and monitor a variety of machines in a production environment, ensuring they function optimally throughout the production cycle.
• Adherence to Standard Procedures: Learn, follow, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the production line to maintain consistency and compliance with industry standards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, including chemical cleaning of manufacturing machinery, to ensure longevity and reliability.
• Quality Assurance: Perform water quality treatment sampling and analysis using designated tools and equipment to confirm satisfactory treatment results. Verify production dates and batch numbers printed on bottles to ensure traceability and compliance.
• Fault Reporting and Operational Reviews: Monitor line equipment and parameters, submitting fault reports in case of abnormalities. Participate in or lead shift operational reviews to discuss achievements, challenges, and solutions.
• Safety and Compliance: Assist the Safety Officer with regular safety inspections of plant equipment and facilities, documenting violations or potential hazards and implementing corrective actions. Strictly adhere to Nestlé’s safety rules and procedures to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
• Waste Reduction Initiatives: Contribute to the zero waste journey by minimizing waste in materials, manpower, and machinery, aligning with Nestlé’s sustainability goals.
• ERP System Proficiency: Utilize warehouse mobility devices to perform material transactions on the ERP system, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
• Water Consumption Monitoring: Oversee all water-consuming machines across the factory to optimize usage and reduce inefficiencies.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: An Associate degree in General Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Electro Mechanics, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing is required.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 to 4 years of manufacturing experience, preferably within the food and beverage sector or in plastic blow molding, injection, and labeling processes.
• Core Knowledge: A solid understanding of the 10 Principles of Nestlé and expert-level knowledge in the areas of responsibility.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating and maintaining production machinery, conducting quality checks, and using ERP systems for material transactions.
• Safety Awareness: A strong commitment to adhering to safety protocols and contributing to a safe working environment.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze production data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and quality.
