Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical I&C (Instrumentation and Control) Construction Site Supervisor to join our dynamic team at INTECH, based in Saudi Arabia. This critical role involves overseeing and managing electrical and instrumentation & control systems on construction sites, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and project specifications. Key Responsibilities

• Project Oversight: Supervise and coordinate all electrical and I&C construction activities on-site, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of electricians, technicians, and support staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for electrical and I&C systems, including installation, testing, calibration, and commissioning of instrumentation, control panels, and automation systems.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce stringent safety protocols and procedures in accordance with local regulations, company policies, and international standards to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and best practices, addressing any deviations promptly.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless communication, resolve issues, and deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project progress, inspections, and incidents, and prepare detailed reports for management and regulatory authorities as required.
• Problem-Solving: Identify potential risks or challenges in electrical and I&C systems and implement proactive solutions to mitigate delays or disruptions to project schedules.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, NEBOSH, or IECEx) are advantageous.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in electrical and I&C construction, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or leadership role on construction sites.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, control panels, automation, and relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SCADA, or PLC programming).
• Leadership and Communication: Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner.
• Safety and Compliance: Strong understanding of safety regulations, electrical codes (e.g., NFPA, IEC, or IEEE), and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and make data-driven decisions under pressure.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.

Work Environment

This position is based on-site in Saudi Arabia and requires frequent travel to project locations. The role demands a high level of adaptability, resilience, and the ability to work in challenging conditions, including extreme weather and remote sites. Candidates must be willing to relocate or travel as needed to support project demands.
