We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electroencephalogram Technician to join our clinical team in Jeddah. In this full-time, on-site role, you will play a critical role in performing EEG tests and neurodiagnostic procedures, ensuring accurate and reliable results that support precise medical diagnoses. Key Responsibilities

As an EEG Technician at Andalusia Health KSA, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing EEG Studies: Conduct electroencephalogram tests and related neurodiagnostic procedures under the guidance of medical staff, adhering to strict clinical protocols and safety standards.
• Patient Preparation and Care: Prepare patients—both adults and pediatric—for EEG studies, ensuring they are comfortable and informed throughout the process. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a compassionate bedside manner will be instrumental in fostering trust and reducing patient anxiety.
• Electrode Application and Equipment Operation: Position electrodes accurately according to standardized protocols, operate EEG equipment with precision, and troubleshoot minor technical issues to maintain optimal performance.
• Data Monitoring and Documentation: Monitor EEG recordings in real-time, ensuring high-quality data capture. Maintain meticulous documentation of patient information, test conditions, and procedural details to support accurate reporting and clinical decision-making.
• Collaborative Support: Assist neurologists and other healthcare professionals by providing clear, organized EEG reports and contributing to interdisciplinary discussions on patient care.
• Infection Control and Safety: Uphold the highest standards of infection control, equipment sanitation, and workplace safety to protect both patients and colleagues.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of neurodiagnostic services by identifying best practices, participating in training programs, and staying updated on advancements in EEG technology and neurophysiology.

• Clinical Knowledge: A solid understanding of neurophysiology basics and EEG procedures, including variations for adult and pediatric patients. Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is highly advantageous.
• Patient Care Excellence: Exceptional interpersonal skills, including clear communication, empathy, and the ability to interact professionally with patients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for accuracy in documentation, data entry, and adherence to hospital policies and clinical guidelines to ensure seamless workflow and reliable outcomes.
• Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, prioritize tasks efficiently, and manage multiple cases with professionalism and composure.
• Education and Certification: A diploma or certification in Neurodiagnostic Technology, EEG Technology, or a related allied health field. Professional registration or licensing as required by Saudi regulations is preferred. Prior experience as an EEG Technician or in a neurodiagnostic department is a significant asset.
• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in both English and Arabic is beneficial, given the multicultural nature of our patient population and clinical environment.
