Key Responsibilities

• System Development and Maintenance: Design, upgrade, and maintain advanced CCTV and security systems—spanning fixed, temporary, and mobile deployments—to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Technological Innovation: Support the research, development, and implementation of next-generation security technologies tailored to operational requirements, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulatory compliance.
• Field Engagement: Conduct site visits to assess customer needs, evaluate system effectiveness, and identify opportunities for enhancement or innovation.
• Logistics and Deployment: Oversee the deployment, relocation, and maintenance of security assets and equipment, ensuring seamless integration and operational readiness.
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide expert technical assistance to site teams and stakeholders, resolving issues and optimizing system performance to minimize downtime and maximize security efficacy.
• Collaborative Partnerships: Work in tandem with operational teams, suppliers, and contractors to deliver cohesive, high-quality security solutions that align with project objectives.
• Compliance and Safety: Uphold stringent safety, compliance, and security protocols across all activities, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and regulatory frameworks.
• Industry Leadership: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and related security technologies, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Who You Are

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled individual who is driven by innovation and possesses a keen interest in security technology. Your profile should align with the following:

• Technical Expertise: Proven experience working with IP CCTV systems and associated security technologies, with a deep understanding of their operational dynamics.
• Qualifications: A relevant qualification in CCTV, electronic security systems, or a related discipline, complemented by hands-on experience in accredited environments (e.g., BAFE, SSAIB, or NSI).
• Specialized Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of intruder alarms, access control, door entry systems, and related technologies, including their installation, maintenance, and upgrade processes.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Strong practical problem-solving skills, enabling you to diagnose issues, propose solutions, and implement improvements independently or as part of a team.
• Communication and Stakeholder Management: Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders, convey technical information clearly, and foster collaborative relationships.
• Flexibility and Adaptability: A proactive, flexible approach with a willingness to travel across England and the UK to support projects and site visits. A full UK driving licence is essential.
• Industry Awareness: Familiarity with current technical standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and innovation.
