Join our dynamic team as a **Reliability Engineer** at Mentor Technical Group, where you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, optimizing asset performance, and delivering cutting-edge reliability solutions across multiple client locations. In this strategic position, you will lead transformative initiatives that enhance equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and streamline maintenance processes—positioning our clients for long-term success while elevating our reputation as industry leaders.
As a key member of our team, you will develop and implement innovative strategies to improve preventive and predictive maintenance, ensuring maximum equipment availability and cost efficiency. Your expertise will be instrumental in conducting comprehensive risk assessments and financial evaluations, guiding clients toward data-driven asset management decisions. Through technical writing and analysis, you will document critical processes such as Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans, Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Failure Mode, Criticality, and Analysis (FMCA), while managing Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) workflows to enhance operational transparency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead cross-functional improvement projects focused on reliability, maintenance optimization, and cost reduction across diverse client sites, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Technical Excellence: Apply advanced reliability methodologies, including Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and predictive technologies, to diagnose equipment failures, mitigate risks, and extend asset lifecycles.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with clients, internal teams, and cross-functional groups to deliver tailored solutions, prioritize high-impact projects, and foster long-term client relationships.
- Training and Development: Mentor and upskill team members in reliability principles, CMMS systems, and maintenance planning, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational proficiency.
- Performance Metrics and Compliance: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for customer service levels, asset reliability, and financial outcomes, ensuring adherence to HR, finance, and regulatory standards.
- Innovation and Process Standardization: Drive the standardization of reliability operations across Mentor Technical Group, implementing scalable solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce variability.
- Client-Centric Solutions: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, addressing their operational challenges with proactive, data-driven strategies that maximize asset performance and minimize downtime.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Direct training programs, performance evaluations, and team activities to cultivate a high-performing, results-driven workforce committed to excellence.

Qualifications:
To excel in this position, you will bring:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Master’s Degree preferred), with a strong foundation in reliability, maintenance, or a related technical discipline.
- Certification as a Maintenance and Reliability Professional or Reliability Leader (highly preferred), along with industry-recognized credentials such as Vibration Analyst or Thermography Certification (considered a plus).
- Experience with Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) to effectively lead cross-functional initiatives and drive measurable results.
- Proven expertise in CMMS systems, predictive maintenance technologies, and data-driven decision-making to optimize asset performance.
- A collaborative mindset with a commitment to mentorship, continuous learning, and fostering a culture of operational excellence.
