Advanced Metal Industries and Toho Titanium (ATTM) is a leading private enterprise within the specialty chemicals and materials sector, dedicated to innovation, precision, and operational excellence. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Reliability Engineer to join our team in Yanbu, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Reporting directly to the Superintendent of Reliability & Engineering, this role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless functionality, safety, and reliability of critical instrumentation systems and equipment across our operations.

As a Reliability Engineer at ATTM, you will play a strategic role in optimizing asset performance, minimizing downtime, and driving continuous improvement through data-driven insights and proactive maintenance strategies. This position demands a blend of technical expertise, analytical rigor, and collaborative leadership to elevate our reliability standards and align with global best practices.

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Strategic Reliability Management: Lead the review and enhancement of design specifications for critical instrumentation and systems, ensuring alignment with industry standards and company objectives. Develop and implement robust maintenance strategies to maximize equipment availability and reliability while adhering to stringent quality benchmarks.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Monitor, analyze, and interpret performance data from major critical equipment and systems. Utilize advanced analytical tools and methodologies to identify trends, predict failures, and recommend actionable improvements to enhance repair techniques and maintenance efficiency.
• Risk and Failure Analysis: Serve as the focal point for Reliability, Integrity, and Survivability (RIS) analyses, facilitating comprehensive assessments of selected systems. Ensure the effective implementation of RIS recommendations and track progress toward achieving ATTM’s reliability Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Technical Leadership and Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to address complex technical challenges, offering innovative solutions and escalating issues as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve operational problems, ensuring alignment with engineering principles and regulatory standards.
• Compliance and Safety: Uphold the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) in all activities. Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement, ensuring that all work practices adhere to global HSE protocols and industry regulations.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of all activities, assignments, and analyses in compliance with established procedures. Develop and submit comprehensive engineering documentation, including reports, plans, and supporting materials, as directed by senior management.
• Technological Innovation: Evaluate emerging technologies and best practices in reliability engineering to identify opportunities for enhancing asset performance. Stay abreast of advancements in mechanical codes, standards, and inspection methodologies to drive operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Instrument Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent qualifications will be considered.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in reliability engineering, maintenance management, or a closely related discipline.

• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in reliability-related software (e.g., SAP, Meridiam, RCA tools) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong aptitude for data gathering, statistical analysis, and root cause analysis to drive informed decision-making.
• Attention to Detail: A structured and meticulous approach to ensure accuracy in inspections, documentation, and maintenance activities.
• Communication and Coordination: Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration with stakeholders, senior engineers, and cross-functional teams.
• Critical Thinking and Decision-Making: Ability to assess risks, evaluate alternatives, and implement solutions that enhance reliability and operational efficiency.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with mechanical codes, standards (e.g., ASME, API), inspection methodologies, and process safety management frameworks.
• Specialized Expertise: Experience in areas such as damage mechanisms, fitness-for-service assessments, piping/vessel/heat exchanger inspections, and welding inspection.
• Change Management: Proficiency in managing change control processes within operational environments to ensure seamless integration of improvements.
• Incident Investigation: Ability to conduct thorough investigations into incidents and accidents, contributing to preventive measures and continuous improvement initiatives.

Contract Duration

This opportunity is available for a fixed-term contract, commencing on 6 September 2026 and concluding on 6 November 2026.
