In this dynamic role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing the consistency, connectivity, and reliability of engineering information across large-scale infrastructure programs. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering disciplined configuration control, seamless system integration, and cohesive stakeholder collaboration—all critical to achieving project milestones with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

As the Configuration/Integration Engineer 1, your responsibilities will include:

• Engineering Documentation & Configuration Management: Oversee the creation, maintenance, and version control of engineering documentation across all project phases, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project standards.
• System Integration Coordination: Lead cross-functional integration activities, bridging multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless connectivity between systems and subsystems.
• Change & Baseline Tracking: Monitor and document design changes, ensuring all updates are systematically reviewed, approved, and reflected in configuration baselines to maintain project integrity.
• Interface Management & Issue Resolution: Act as a technical liaison to identify, diagnose, and resolve integration challenges across interconnected systems, minimizing delays and ensuring operational continuity.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships with design consultants, project delivery teams, vendors, and senior client stakeholders to align technical requirements and drive cohesive project outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and a passion for delivering high-impact infrastructure solutions. We seek candidates who meet the following required qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline, demonstrating a strong foundation in engineering principles and practices.
• 10+ years of combined experience in both configuration management and system integration, with a proven track record of managing complex technical environments.
• Deep expertise in digital delivery platforms, including the ability to build, integrate, automate, and enhance digital solutions to optimize project workflows and efficiency.
• Extensive experience in construction and large-scale infrastructure projects, with a focus on engineering project delivery, program coordination, and stakeholder management.
• Hands-on proficiency in document control, change management, and baseline tracking, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to engage effectively with design consultants, project teams, external vendors, and senior leadership to drive alignment and resolve technical challenges.

While not mandatory, the following preferred qualifications will further strengthen your candidacy:

• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud Platform Services, including REST APIs and ETL processes for data transformation and integration.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and the Power Platform ecosystem, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, to enhance digital workflows and reporting.
• Proficiency in .NET, JavaScript, or Python, enabling advanced automation and customization of technical solutions.
• A background in Building Information Modeling (BIM) or digital delivery methodologies, aligning with modern infrastructure project requirements.
