As the Senior Director, you will lead a dynamic team of architects, engineers, and project managers to transform innovative concepts into reality. Your expertise will be instrumental in aligning the project with Qiddiya’s broader vision of fostering a vibrant, inclusive sports culture while delivering exceptional fan experiences. This role demands a forward-thinking leader with a proven track record in large-scale development, urban planning, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive development strategies for the Velodrome and Urban Sports Park, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya’s long-term vision and global best practices.
• Project Oversight: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance sports facilities, including the Velodrome, multi-purpose sports courts, and urban recreational spaces, on time and within budget.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with government entities, international partners, and local communities to drive collaboration and secure necessary approvals and resources.
• Innovation & Sustainability: Champion sustainable design principles and cutting-edge technologies to create an eco-friendly, future-proof sports ecosystem.
• Performance Excellence: Establish KPIs and metrics to monitor progress, ensuring operational efficiency and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
• Brand & Experience Enhancement: Contribute to the creation of a world-class visitor experience, blending sports, culture, and entertainment in a seamless urban setting.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A master’s degree or equivalent in Architecture, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred).
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in large-scale development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven expertise in sports infrastructure, velodrome design, and urban sports park development.
• Strong background in project management, budget oversight, and risk mitigation.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in Arabic and English.
• Experience working in high-profile international projects and familiarity with Middle Eastern market dynamics.
