Skilled Helper – Production Support Specialist

As our Skilled Helper, your responsibilities will span a wide range of essential tasks, ensuring that every aspect of production runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for round-the-clock monitoring and management of raw materials (RM) and other related materials (ORM), ensuring they are properly checked, loaded, and prepared for processing. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you prepare rolls for mounting on production machinery, verifying their readiness to meet production demands.

Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You will work closely with your team to prepare pallets and packing materials as needed, ensuring that all goods are securely and correctly packaged for transfer. Your duties will also include handling the loading, unloading, weighing, and transferring of materials between work-in-progress (WIP) and finished goods areas, maintaining an organized and efficient production floor. Throughout the production process, you will monitor machines and products, ensuring that everything operates as intended and that any deviations are promptly addressed.

Attention to paperwork and resource management is another key aspect of this role. You will be responsible for acquiring all necessary documents, parts, and tools from relevant sections, ensuring that the production line is always equipped with what it needs to operate smoothly. Additionally, you will manage waste disposal, maintaining a clean and compliant production environment. Your proactive approach will also involve assisting the Team Leader, Lead Operator, and Operators as needed, contributing to the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) and supporting the team in meeting production targets.

Quality is non-negotiable in our operations, and your role will include identifying and reporting any quality defects to the Quality Control (QC) team, Team Leader, Lead Operator, and Operators. You will also be responsible for filling out roll and pallet labels accurately, ensuring traceability and compliance with our standards.
