Key Responsibilities

• Client Collaboration & Requirements Analysis: Thoroughly review customer orders, job specifications, and general drawings to grasp project intricacies and translate them into actionable design deliverables.
• Design & Documentation: Develop a complete electrical drawing package, including detailed internal layouts, wiring diagrams, and comprehensive bills of material (BOMs), tailored to meet project and client requirements.
• Quality Assurance & Conflict Resolution: Conduct pre-design document scans to identify and highlight clarifications or conflicts, mitigating risks before design commencement.
• Change Management & Compliance: Monitor and implement customer-driven changes efficiently, ensuring seamless integration into design submittals and revisions while minimizing Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs) and Revised BOMs.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously improve design efficiency by meeting or surpassing allocated standard design hours per product type, aligning with project timelines and cost targets.
• Cost & Resource Management: Adhere strictly to project scopes and budgetary constraints, avoiding unapproved material orders, and resolving design review queries promptly in coordination with project managers.
• Customer-Centric Design: Deeply understand customer needs to craft design packages that not only meet but exceed expectations, contributing to a superior customer satisfaction index.
• Team Support & Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to drafters, ensuring adherence to schedules, procedures, and best practices while fostering a culture of operational excellence.

• Technical Proficiency: Mastery of industry-standard tools such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, and MS Office, with a preference for Siemens S8 and ABB ProE. Familiarity with electrical protection functions, schemes, and drafting standards is critical.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving: Ability to interpret complex technical documentation, identify inefficiencies, and propose data-driven solutions to enhance design processes.
