As an **IT Manager** within Marriott International, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless technology operations across designated properties, blending technical expertise with strategic leadership to enhance guest and associate experiences. In this **full-time, on-site role** located in the Central Area District North of Al Masjid Al Nabawi, Madinah, Saudi Arabia, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality IT solutions that align with Marriott’s global standards. Your work will directly impact operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and the secure management of technology assets across properties.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of IT management duties, including:

• Technical Leadership and Support: Provide first- and second-level IT support, including troubleshooting, installations, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems. Ensure compliance with Marriott International Policies (MIPs) and Information Security Manuals (ISMs) while implementing solutions to address discrepancies.
• Budget and Resource Management: Collaborate with IT leadership to develop and monitor CAPEX and operational budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources for IT projects and property support needs. Process equipment orders, manage vendor contracts, and conduct periodic inventories of hardware and software to optimize asset utilization.
• Strategic Planning and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on technology assets, security measures, and operational statuses. Assist in disaster recovery and business continuity planning to mitigate risks and ensure resilience.
• End-User and Stakeholder Engagement: Deliver exceptional customer service to associates and guests, addressing inquiries and escalating issues as needed. Provide technical guidance to end-users, including desktop imaging, software installations, and network configurations.
• Infrastructure and Security Oversight: Maintain secure server environments, perform routine backups, and conduct preventative maintenance on critical systems. Ensure compliance with security protocols, such as encryption, patch deployment, and quarterly ID audits, to safeguard sensitive data.
• Vendor and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with Marriott IT resources, vendors, and regional teams to support corporate initiatives, including mobility solutions, guest Wi-Fi, and property-specific technology deployments.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of technical proficiency and managerial acumen:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent, complemented by 2–4 years of experience in IT or a related field. Alternatively, a 2-year degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a comparable discipline with 2 years of professional experience.
• Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with sophisticated technology equipment, including servers, networking hardware, and desktop systems. Familiarity with IT security best practices, disaster recovery protocols, and compliance frameworks is essential.
• Certifications (Preferred): Industry-recognized certifications in IT management, cybersecurity, or related domains to validate your expertise and commitment to professional growth.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You will thrive in a collaborative environment, bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
