This pivotal role demands a strategic leader with deep technical expertise to ensure seamless, high-performance DNS operations across hybrid and cloud environments while fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams.

In this dynamic position, you will take ownership of the entire DNS lifecycle—from architecture design and zone management to security enforcement and incident resolution—while driving continuous improvement in reliability, scalability, and security. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our global infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime, and aligning DNS services with evolving business and cybersecurity requirements.

Key Responsibilities

As the DNS Team Lead, your responsibilities will span a broad spectrum of technical and leadership domains:

• DNS & DDI Administration: Lead the administration of enterprise-scale DNS, DHCP, and IPAM environments, ensuring seamless integration with Microsoft DNS, Active Directory-integrated DNS, and Infoblox DDI solutions. Oversee DNS architecture, zone configurations, delegations, and forwarders while maintaining high availability, security, and performance standards. Collaborate with infrastructure and network teams to implement and manage DNS-related changes, maintenance activities, and service enhancements.
• DNS Security: Implement and enforce advanced DNS security measures, including DNSSEC and Response Policy Zones (RPZ), to mitigate threats and vulnerabilities. Monitor security events, investigate potential breaches, and ensure compliance with organizational security protocols. Troubleshoot security-related incidents and advocate for secure DNS architectures that align with industry best practices.
• Cloud & Network Services: Extend DNS services across hybrid and cloud environments, administering platforms such as Azure DNS and AWS Route 53. Support enterprise IPAM and network automation initiatives while coordinating DNS changes between on-premises and cloud infrastructures. Work closely with cloud, network, and infrastructure teams to optimize DNS performance and reliability.
• Monitoring, Troubleshooting & Incident Management: Proactively monitor DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services to detect and resolve performance issues, outages, or security anomalies. Lead incident response efforts, conduct root-cause analyses, and implement preventive measures to enhance service resilience. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex DNS protocols, zone configurations, and resolution issues.
• Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance and mentorship to DNS administrators and infrastructure teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence. Drive technical planning and infrastructure improvements, establishing best-in-class operational standards and procedures. Collaborate with stakeholders to align DNS services with strategic business objectives and emerging technological advancements.
