Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and subcontractors for construction and electrical projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications and quality standards.
• Technical & Commercial Due Diligence: Conduct in-depth reviews of technical specifications, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and project requirements to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Competitive Procurement & Negotiation: Obtain and analyze quotations from multiple vendors, prepare detailed technical and commercial comparisons, and negotiate favorable terms to maximize cost savings without compromising quality.
• Purchase Order & Coordination: Issue purchase orders and maintain seamless coordination with engineering, project, and finance teams to ensure timely procurement and project progression.
• Performance Monitoring & Risk Mitigation: Track supplier performance, delivery schedules, and procurement timelines to mitigate risks and ensure project deadlines are met with precision.
• Cost Optimization & Quality Assurance: Drive cost-effective procurement strategies while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

We are seeking a **highly motivated Procurement Engineer** with a proven track record in procurement for construction or contracting projects. Ideal candidates will possess:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a strong foundation in technical procurement processes.
• Experience: At least **5 years of hands-on procurement experience**, preferably within the construction, contracting, or energy sectors. Prior experience with national entities such as National Grid Saudi, SEC, or SE is a significant advantage.
• Technical & Analytical Skills: Deep knowledge of procurement methodologies, supplier evaluation frameworks, and technical material specifications. Proficiency in analyzing and comparing commercial and technical quotations.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of **Microsoft Excel** and other industry-standard software tools to manage data, track performance, and generate reports.
• Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in **English**, with the ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Organizational & Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple procurement requirements simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight project deadlines under pressure.
