In this strategic role, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments, from deployment and configuration to performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and automation. Your work will span across virtualization, containerization, storage solutions, and security—ensuring high availability, scalability, and compliance for enterprise-grade systems. Whether you’re resolving complex system failures, optimizing infrastructure efficiency, or implementing automation to streamline operations, your contributions will be instrumental in maintaining the reliability of our clients’ digital ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will be both diverse and impactful, covering the following critical areas:

• Linux System Administration: Lead the administration, configuration, and maintenance of RHEL environments, ensuring optimal system performance, availability, and security. Perform installations, upgrades, and routine maintenance tasks while monitoring system health metrics to preemptively address potential issues.
• Advanced Troubleshooting & Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve complex Linux-related issues, including performance bottlenecks, hardware failures, and service disruptions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve high-impact incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency.
• Network & Directory Services: Support and troubleshoot advanced Linux services such as DNS, DHCP, and LDAP, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise directory and network infrastructure. Maintain and optimize configurations to enhance security, performance, and user accessibility.
• Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain shell scripts and Ansible playbooks to automate repetitive administrative tasks, reducing manual effort and minimizing human error. Continuously identify opportunities to enhance operational workflows through intelligent automation solutions.
• Virtualization & Containerization: Provide operational support for Linux workloads running on VMware platforms, Docker containers, and Kubernetes-orchestrated environments. Ensure smooth deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications while supporting Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
• Storage Management: Administer and troubleshoot Linux storage solutions, including LVM and RAID configurations. Monitor storage capacity, availability, and performance to prevent capacity-related disruptions and ensure data integrity.
• Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce Linux security best practices, including firewall configurations, encryption policies, and access controls. Assist in identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery: Support Linux backup solutions and disaster recovery processes, ensuring data resilience and business continuity. Participate in recovery drills and incident response activities to validate and improve recovery procedures.
• Documentation & Collaboration: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including troubleshooting logs, operational procedures, and system configurations. Foster a culture of knowledge sharing by documenting resolutions and best practices for team-wide accessibility.
• Shift Support: Provide continuous operational support during assigned shifts, responding promptly to system incidents and performing administrative tasks to maintain infrastructure stability. Your availability ensures that critical systems remain operational around the clock.
