In this pivotal role, you will serve as the trusted technical advisor, shaping high-performance compute architectures, virtualized environments, and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) deployments. As a key member of our Pre-Sales Department, you will report directly to the **Pre-Sales Director**, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that align with enterprise-grade demands. This role demands a deep technical acumen in compute platforms, virtualization, and HCI, coupled with the ability to translate intricate technical specifications into compelling, actionable strategies for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will span a broad spectrum of technical and strategic initiatives, including:

• Compute & HCI Architecture: Design and architect robust enterprise server configurations, including rack and blade systems, as well as Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) nodes. Conduct meticulous host sizing, optimize vCPU-to-pCPU ratios, allocate RAM resources, and perform software-defined storage (vSAN) calculations to ensure high-performance, cost-effective deployments.
• Virtualization & Cloud Sizing: Develop enterprise virtualization stacks, focusing on micro-segmentation, management clusters, and seamless hybrid cloud integration. Leverage your expertise to align virtualized environments with modern cloud strategies, ensuring scalability and flexibility for our clients.
• RFP Technical Authoring: Analyze and respond to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Quotation (RFQs) with precision. Author comprehensive technical proposals, including high-level designs (HLD), detailed sizing matrices, and accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) with full software licensing breakdowns. Ensure all deliverables meet regulatory compliance and client expectations.
• Hands-on PoC Execution: Plan, build, and execute hands-on Proof of Concepts (PoCs) focused on compute performance testing, hypervisor failover validation, workload migration, and HCI cluster demonstrations. Your ability to deliver impactful, real-world demonstrations will be instrumental in converting technical insights into awarded contracts.
• Vendor Technical Alignment: Collaborate directly with leading OEM technical teams, including VMware, Nutanix, Dell, Cisco, and Huawei, to ensure configuration compliance, accurate deal registration, and optimal sizing. Act as a liaison between vendors and clients, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with technical specifications.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Your success in this role will be measured against the following critical performance indicators:

• Technical Sizing Accuracy: Maintain 100% technical compliance with zero errors in compute, hypervisor, and HCI Bills of Quantities (BOQs), ensuring precision in all licensing and configuration details.
• PoC Win Rate: Achieve a high conversion rate of technical compute and HCI PoCs into awarded contracts, demonstrating your ability to influence and close deals through impactful technical demonstrations.
• Turnaround Time: Deliver complete technical proposals for enterprise compute tenders within specified deadlines, ensuring timely and efficient response to client needs.
• Domain Certifications: Commit to maintaining and acquiring at least one expert or specialist-level certification annually in compute or virtualization domains (e.g., VMware VCP/VCAP, Nutanix NCP/NCSE, Dell VxRail Specialist, Huawei). Stay ahead of industry trends and certify your expertise to enhance credibility and value.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of academic excellence, hands-on experience, and technical mastery:

• Education: Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology, providing a strong foundation for your technical expertise.
• Experience: Gain at least 3+ years of technical experience in enterprise compute and virtualization, with a dedicated focus on Pre-Sales for 2+ years at a System Integrator. Your background should reflect a deep understanding of client needs and the ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
• Core Technical Mastery: Demonstrate proficiency in VMware (vSphere, vSAN, Tanzu), Nutanix (AHV, Unified Storage), Dell (PowerEdge, VxRail), Cisco (UCS), and Huawei (FusionServer, FusionCube). Your expertise should span both hardware and software domains, ensuring comprehensive solution design and implementation.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both speaking and writing Arabic is a must, enabling effective communication with clients and stakeholders across Saudi Arabia.
