As the **Digital Infrastructure & Cloud Lead**, you will play a critical role in maintaining and advancing our infrastructure ecosystem. Your responsibilities will span provisioning, automation, security, and incident response, ensuring that our platforms remain robust, performant, and aligned with industry best practices. You will lead initiatives to streamline operations, minimize downtime, and empower teams with self-service capabilities, all while adhering to stringent security and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of technical and leadership responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Infrastructure & Cloud Provisioning and Deployment: Design, implement, and maintain cloud and on-premises infrastructure using industry-standard patterns and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) methodologies. Ensure seamless provisioning of resources, networks, storage, and platform services while maintaining environment parity across dev/test/stage/production pipelines. Validate deployments to guarantee reproducibility and reliability.
• Automation, Configuration, and IaC: Develop and refine IaC modules, automation scripts, and deployment pipelines to minimize manual processes and enable self-service provisioning. Create and maintain automated operational playbooks for tasks such as configuration drift remediation, patch management, and self-healing mechanisms to reduce operational toil and accelerate recovery times.
• Monitoring, Observability, and Performance Tuning: Establish comprehensive observability frameworks, including metrics, logs, and traces, to enable proactive issue detection and rapid troubleshooting. Design and maintain dashboards and alerts tailored to our operational needs. Conduct performance analysis and tuning for compute, storage, and network resources, contributing to capacity planning and right-sizing initiatives.
• Security, Patch Management, and Resilience Operations: Implement and enforce platform hardening, patching, backup, and recovery procedures to meet security requirements. Ensure compliance with configuration baselines and remediation actions. Support disaster recovery (DR) exercises and backup verification while implementing resilient deployment patterns, such as multi-AZ and failover strategies.
• Incident Response and Troubleshooting: Serve as the escalation point for complex incidents, conducting triage, diagnosing root causes, and implementing fixes or workarounds. Collaborate closely with application teams, integration owners, and third-party vendors to resolve cross-stack faults and mitigate recurrence. Ensure thorough documentation of root cause analyses (RCAs) for continuous improvement.
• Reporting and Knowledge Sharing: Provide regular operational updates to leadership on deployments, incidents, risks, and process improvements. Maintain and update runbooks, configuration baselines, deployment playbooks, and change records. Actively contribute to the team’s knowledge base and onboarding materials to foster a culture of shared expertise.
• Policies, Processes, and Continuous Improvement: Execute day-to-day activities in full compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement by evaluating leading practices and adapting to evolving business needs.

Qualifications and Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with a proven track record in digital infrastructure and cloud operations. The ideal candidate will possess:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or an equivalent field is required.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in infrastructure, cloud operations, or a related field. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and on-premises environments is highly valued.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Strong knowledge of automation scripts (e.g., Python, Bash) and deployment pipelines. Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) is essential. Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware) and networking protocols is a plus.
• Certifications (Preferred): Certifications in infrastructure and architecture, including but not limited to Cisco CCNP, VMware VCP-DCV, ITIL, CompTIA Network+/Security+/A+, or Fortinet NSE, will be advantageous.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions under pressure.
