Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement long-term engineering and maintenance strategies aligned with Hilton’s global standards and local regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia.
• Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of all technical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and building automation, ensuring optimal performance and guest satisfaction.
• Team Development: Lead a high-performing team of engineers, technicians, and maintenance staff, providing mentorship, training, and career development opportunities to drive excellence.
• Budget and Resource Management: Manage engineering budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement processes to deliver cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or safety.
• Sustainability and Compliance: Champion sustainability initiatives by integrating energy-efficient technologies and ensuring full compliance with local and international safety and environmental regulations.
• Emergency Response: Lead incident response and crisis management, ensuring rapid resolution of technical issues to minimize disruptions and maintain operational continuity.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with hotel management, regional leadership, and external vendors to align engineering objectives with business goals and guest expectations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A proven track record of 10+ years in engineering, maintenance management, or facilities leadership within the hospitality or commercial sectors, with a focus on high-end properties.
• Extensive experience in managing large-scale technical systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation, with a deep understanding of their maintenance requirements.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously while adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Certifications in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g., OSHA, LEED, or industry-specific certifications) are a significant advantage.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is highly preferred, given the location in Jeddah.
