We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Finance to spearhead the financial strategy and operational excellence for our premier property in the Central Area District, North of Al Masjid Al Nabawi, Madinah, Saudi Arabia. As the strategic financial leader, you will play a critical role in shaping the property’s financial future by developing and executing a comprehensive business plan that aligns with the brand’s strategic direction. Your responsibilities will span financial forecasting, budget management, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency, ensuring that every financial decision contributes to sustainable growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of strategic and operational financial leadership, including:

• Strategic Financial Planning and Execution: Lead the development and implementation of a dynamic annual business plan that aligns with the property’s and brand’s strategic goals. Drive profit optimization by analyzing cost-benefit scenarios, exploring innovative business opportunities, and forecasting sales against expenses with precision.
• Budgeting and Financial Analysis: Compile, analyze, and monitor actual sales performance against projections, ensuring financial accountability and operational efficiency. Identify cost-saving opportunities and productivity enhancements through rigorous financial reviews and variance analysis.
• Risk Management and Control: Establish and enforce a robust system of financial controls to mitigate risks, safeguard assets, and enhance operational profitability. Oversee internal and external audit processes to maintain transparency and compliance.
• Leadership and Team Development: Inspire and lead a high-performing finance team by fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, and excellence. Assign clear roles and responsibilities to team members and department managers, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to the General Manager and executive committee, providing insightful analysis on financial and operational issues. Communicate complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively to drive informed decision-making across all levels of the organization.
• Performance and Growth Initiatives: Conduct annual performance appraisals and foster a growth mindset within the finance team. Anticipate stakeholder needs—whether from owners, corporate leadership, or guests—and deliver tailored financial solutions that enhance satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this transformative role, you will bring a blend of academic rigor and hands-on experience:

• Education: A 4-year bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, complemented by 3 years of relevant professional experience in finance or accounting, OR a master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with 1 year of professional experience.
• Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to develop and execute financial strategies that drive profitability and align with business objectives. Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Leadership and Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and advocate for sound financial practices. Ability to translate financial insights into actionable strategies for non-financial audiences.
• Operational Excellence: Experience in implementing financial controls, risk management frameworks, and performance metrics to enhance operational efficiency and asset protection.
