In this pivotal role, you will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions, safeguarding our company’s assets while supporting seamless operations. Your responsibilities will include meticulously verifying figures, postings, and documents for mathematical correctness, proper coding, and compliance with established policies. You will organize, secure, and maintain all financial records, cash, and cash equivalents, leveraging both manual and computerized systems to streamline processes and enhance accuracy.

Key responsibilities include:

• Financial Processing and Verification: Review and validate financial entries, ensuring mathematical accuracy and adherence to coding standards. Post transactions accurately and maintain up-to-date records in compliance with company protocols.
• Record Management and Compliance: Classify, code, and summarize financial data to compile and maintain journals, ledgers, and digital records. Perform period-end closing procedures and generate required reports to support auditing and regulatory compliance.
• Cash and Petty Cash Management: Periodically audit cashier banks and petty cash funds in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Document and address all cash variances promptly, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Liaison and Coordination: Act as a liaison between the property, armored car services, and primary banking institutions to facilitate secure and efficient financial transactions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and adherence to financial policies.
• Audit and Compliance Support: Participate in internal, external, and regulatory audits to ensure full compliance with SOPs and applicable financial regulations. Contribute to maintaining a culture of integrity and continuous improvement.
• Confidentiality and Professionalism: Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, protecting proprietary information and company assets. Maintain a clean, professional appearance and communicate clearly and professionally in all interactions, both written and verbal.
• Team Collaboration: Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. Actively support team goals, listen attentively to concerns, and ensure clarity in task execution to drive collective success.

This role requires the ability to handle tasks independently with minimal supervision, including the physical ability to manage objects weighing up to 10 pounds. While no supervisory experience is required, adaptability, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning are essential.
