We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facade Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design and execution of cutting-edge facade systems for some of the region’s most ambitious and complex projects. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and stakeholders, you will deliver innovative solutions that harmonize form, function, and sustainability while adhering to strict deadlines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

As a Facade Engineer at Inhabit, your responsibilities will include:

• Conceptual Design and Execution: Develop and deliver comprehensive facade engineering solutions, from initial concept development to detailed design, documentation, and construction-phase support. Ensure designs integrate seamlessly with architectural visions while optimizing performance, aesthetics, and sustainability.
• Project Leadership: Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and execution to ensure timely delivery and high-quality outcomes. Coordinate cross-functional teams to align on technical specifications, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare meticulous tender documentation, design specifications, and project deliverables that comply with client requirements, local building codes, and international standards. Ensure all outputs are precise, professional, and aligned with regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborative Integration: Act as a liaison between internal design teams, architects, and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive facade engineering solutions. Foster open communication to address challenges and refine designs collaboratively.
• Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, transparent relationships with clients by delivering work with professionalism, clarity, and a commitment to excellence. Act as a trusted advisor in facade engineering matters.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze and evaluate facade systems—including curtain walls, glazing, cladding, and specialist systems—to enhance structural integrity, energy efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Drive innovation to push the boundaries of facade engineering.
• Problem-Solving and Innovation: Contribute to the team’s problem-solving efforts by applying creative and analytical thinking. Propose forward-thinking solutions that elevate facade engineering practices and align with our commitment to sustainability.

Qualifications and Experience

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

• Proven Expertise: A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in facade engineering or a related discipline, ideally within a consultancy environment. Demonstrated success in designing and delivering complex facade systems, including curtain walls, glazing, cladding, and specialist solutions.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in industry-leading software such as REVIT, BIM, or SpaceGass, along with a strong understanding of digital design tools and Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodologies.
• Project Management Acumen: A solid grasp of project management principles, including budget oversight, timeline adherence, and client requirement fulfillment. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with efficiency and precision.
• Communication Excellence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders, including clients, architects, and contractors.
• Organizational and Analytical Skills: Strong time management and organizational abilities, coupled with an analytical mindset and unwavering attention to detail. A commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement.

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be highly valued:

• High-Rise and Complex Systems: Experience with high-rise buildings or intricate facade systems in challenging environments, such as those found in the GCC region.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Saudi Arabian and GCC building codes, standards, and regulations, ensuring compliance and seamless project execution.
