As an Assistant Manager in the Tax department, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership to ensure seamless tax operations, mitigate risks, and optimize tax efficiencies. Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the following critical functions:

• Tax Compliance and Reporting: Oversee the preparation and submission of accurate and timely tax filings, ensuring full adherence to local, federal, and international tax regulations. Stay abreast of evolving tax laws and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
• Strategic Tax Planning: Assist in developing and executing tax strategies that align with Qiddiya’s financial objectives, minimizing tax liabilities while maximizing operational efficiency. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify tax-saving opportunities.
• Tax Risk Management: Identify and assess tax risks across projects and operations, proposing mitigation strategies to safeguard the company’s financial interests. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure robust internal controls.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management, providing clear and actionable insights on tax-related matters. Facilitate communication between the tax team and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax authorities, and legal counsel.
• Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in tax processes, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency. Implement automated solutions where feasible to streamline workflows.
• Training and Knowledge Sharing: Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the tax department. Share expertise through training sessions and documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

While we value individuality, the following qualifications and skills are essential for success in this role:

• A bachelor’s degree in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA, or equivalent) is a significant advantage.
• Proven experience of 5+ years in tax management, compliance, or a related field, with a strong track record in a corporate or investment setting.
• Deep knowledge of Saudi tax laws, including VAT, corporate tax, and transfer pricing regulations, as well as familiarity with international tax frameworks.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax scenarios and recommend data-driven solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• Proficient in tax software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with advanced Excel and data analysis tools is a plus.
