We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Engineer – BIM, Design & Interface Coordination to join our dynamic team in AlUla and play a pivotal role in the successful execution of a transformative construction project.

In this strategic position, you will leverage your expertise to lead BIM coordination across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and adherence to the highest industry standards. This role demands a visionary leader who can bridge the gap between design disciplines, resolve complex technical challenges, and drive project efficiency from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead BIM Coordination: Oversee BIM coordination activities across all project phases, ensuring alignment between architectural, structural, MEP, and infrastructure disciplines to deliver cohesive and error-free designs.
• Interface Management: Act as the primary liaison between design teams, managing interfaces to eliminate discrepancies and ensure seamless integration of all project components.
• Technical Review & Compliance: Conduct rigorous reviews of BIM models, design drawings, and technical submittals to verify accuracy, compliance with project specifications, and adherence to industry standards.
• Clash Detection & Resolution: Utilize advanced BIM coordination tools to identify, track, and resolve design clashes efficiently, minimizing delays and rework.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams to facilitate transparent communication, align expectations, and ensure smooth project execution.
• BIM Standards & Procedures: Enforce compliance with BIM standards, project specifications, and coordination protocols to maintain consistency and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Technical Workshops & Reviews: Support design reviews, technical workshops, and interface management meetings, providing expert insights to drive informed decision-making.
• Documentation & Reporting: Compile comprehensive BIM coordination reports, clash detection summaries, and project documentation to ensure accountability and transparency.
• Progress Monitoring: Track project milestones and proactively address design and coordination issues to maintain timelines and budgets.
• Mentorship & Guidance: Provide technical leadership to project teams, fostering best practices in BIM processes and enhancing overall project efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of specialized experience in BIM coordination, design interface management, or multidisciplinary engineering projects. Prior experience within a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) organization is mandatory.
• Technical Proficiency: Extensive hands-on experience with industry-leading BIM tools, including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC, and other coordination platforms. Proficiency in clash detection, interface management, and BIM workflows is essential.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of BIM standards, coordination procedures, and multidisciplinary design principles to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
