As the Manager of Government Relations, your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Advocacy: Develop and execute a comprehensive government relations strategy to influence public policy, regulatory frameworks, and government initiatives that impact Marriott’s operations in Saudi Arabia.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain collaborative relationships with government officials, ministries, and regulatory authorities to foster mutual understanding and alignment with Marriott’s business goals.
• Policy Analysis: Monitor and analyze government policies, legislative changes, and regulatory developments to anticipate challenges and opportunities for Marriott’s business in the region.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Corporate Affairs, and Business Units, to ensure cohesive representation of Marriott’s interests and strategic priorities.
• Reputation Management: Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on government-related risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to safeguard and enhance Marriott’s reputation in Saudi Arabia.
• Crisis Preparedness: Develop and implement crisis management plans to address potential regulatory or reputational challenges proactively and effectively.

This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in government relations, public affairs, or a related field.
