Your Impact

As the lead architect for end-to-end Core Network and cloud-native solutions, your responsibilities will span the entire solution lifecycle—from initial concept to deployment, operation, and continuous evolution. Your influence will extend across critical domains, including Packet Core, telco cloud, IMS, Communication Services, BSS/OSS, orchestration, security, and operational processes. You will:

• Drive Customer-Centric Solutions: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to dissect business challenges, network strategies, and transformation priorities, translating them into a compelling solution vision. Articulate the technical scope and value proposition with clarity, ensuring alignment with customer goals.
• Lead Technical Excellence: Facilitate high-level architecture reviews, technical workshops, and solution discussions, where you will communicate complex architectural decisions, dependencies, risks, and trade-offs to diverse audiences. Act as the senior technical liaison between customers, Ericsson teams, partners, and suppliers, ensuring seamless alignment across all stakeholders.
• Define End-to-End Architectures: Design comprehensive, high- and low-level architectures for Core Network solutions, encompassing solution concepts, interfaces, deployment models, data flows, and non-functional requirements. Evaluate architectural options to strike the perfect balance between customer value, technical feasibility, performance, resilience, security, operational simplicity, and cost-efficiency.
• Innovate in Packet Core and Cloud-Native Design: Shape solutions for 4G EPC, 5G Core, dual-mode 5G Core, and Packet Core interworking, ensuring seamless integration with mobility, policy, subscriber data, signaling, and user-plane functions. Leverage cloud-native principles to design scalable, resilient, and automated solutions using microservices, containers, Kubernetes, CNFs/VNFs, and CaaS. Address critical aspects such as infrastructure, security, observability, scaling, upgrades, and operational readiness across central, regional, edge, and distributed cloud environments.
• Deliver Commercially Viable Proposals: Work hand-in-hand with Core 3 and sales teams to craft technically robust and commercially compelling proposals. Develop detailed solution scopes, technical value propositions, differentiators, assumptions, risks, and acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with Ericsson’s portfolio capabilities, delivery models, and customer expectations.
• Enable Seamless Delivery and Lifecycle Evolution: Guide the transition from presales through design, integration, deployment, acceptance, and operations, providing architectural governance and technical leadership. Manage key risks and ensure that technical decisions remain aligned with evolving customer requirements. Support upgrades, migrations, modernization, and automation initiatives while capturing lessons learned to enhance future solutions.
