In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the seamless functionality of electrical systems across our facilities. Your responsibilities will span from installation and maintenance to troubleshooting and preventive care, ensuring all systems operate at peak performance while complying with national and local electrical codes. This position demands a blend of technical proficiency, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• **Installation and Maintenance:** Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using both hand tools and power tools. Ensure all installations adhere to job specifications, blueprints, schematics, and applicable electrical codes, including the National Electric Code.

• **Diagnostics and Repairs:** Inspect and diagnose malfunctioning tools, equipment, and electrical systems. Utilize advanced testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to identify and resolve issues efficiently. Conduct regular preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of critical systems.

• **System Integration:** Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components. Plan and execute the layout of electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.

• **Emergency and Backup Systems:** Test and maintain backup systems, including generators and emergency lighting, to ensure reliability during critical situations.

• **Inventory and Procurement:** Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and requisition necessary parts and supplies to support ongoing operations.

• **Safety and Compliance:** Adhere strictly to all company safety and security policies. Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly. Complete required safety training and certifications to maintain compliance with industry standards.

• **Guest and Stakeholder Relations:** Welcome and acknowledge guests with professionalism and courtesy. Anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and foster a welcoming environment that reflects our commitment to excellence.

• **Collaboration and Communication:** Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in written formats, to ensure alignment and support across teams.

• **Physical Demands:** Perform tasks that may require lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and manipulating objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Exhibit fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to handle various tools and components with precision.

• **Adaptability:** Remain open to additional responsibilities as needed to support operational goals and address evolving project requirements.

Qualifications:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious professional with the following qualifications:

• Education: A degree from a technical, trade, or vocational school is preferred.
• Experience: At least two years of hands-on experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or a related field. Experience with commercial or industrial electrical systems is a significant advantage.
• Certifications and Licenses: A valid driver’s license is required. Additional certifications in electrical work, safety, or related fields are highly valued.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams. Familiarity with testing devices and diagnostic tools. Knowledge of electrical codes and safety protocols is essential.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
