Technician - Carpenter – Full-Time Position

As part of our Engineering & Facilities team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the structural integrity, aesthetic appeal, and functionality of our spaces.

In this full-time, on-site position, you will be responsible for a wide range of carpentry tasks, from installation and repair to construction and finishing. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering high-quality results that align with our commitment to excellence. Whether it’s crafting custom millwork, installing drywall, or executing minor repairs, your attention to detail and technical skill will be key to maintaining our facilities’ pristine condition.

Key Responsibilities:

Your role will encompass the following critical duties:

• Construction and Installation: Build, install, and repair walls, partitions, drywall, wallpaper, millwork, and molding, ensuring seamless integration with our architectural design standards. Execute faux finishing techniques to elevate the aesthetic appeal of our spaces.
• Framing and Cabinetry: Perform rough-in framing for doors, windows, and cabinetry, adhering to precise measurements and structural guidelines. Construct and repair wood structures, including partitions, doors, and furniture, to meet our operational and design requirements.
• Minor Repairs and Maintenance: Address routine maintenance tasks such as tightening fixtures, replacing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls. Provide prompt and efficient solutions to ensure a safe and functional environment for our guests and staff.
• Logistics and Procurement: Manage the ordering process for materials and supplies, including completing requisitions, obtaining managerial approval, and coordinating with trusted vendors to ensure timely delivery and availability.
• Freight Handling: Safely load, transport, and unload freight from elevators to designated areas using hand trucks, maintaining organization and efficiency in our workspace.
• Safety and Compliance: Uphold all company safety protocols, report hazards or incidents immediately, and complete mandatory safety training and certifications. Protect company assets, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to professional standards in appearance and conduct.
• Guest Relations: Welcome and acknowledge all guests with professionalism and warmth. Anticipate and address their needs, including assisting individuals with disabilities, and ensure a positive experience through genuine appreciation and attentive service.
• Physical Demands: Perform tasks requiring physical agility, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and manipulating objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Demonstrate fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work in various positions, such as bending, stooping, and climbing ladders.
• Adaptability: Execute additional duties as requested by supervisors, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to contributing to our team’s success.
