• Design Reviews and Gate Processes: Lead and participate in discipline-specific design reviews and formal project gate reviews, ensuring robust validation of technical solutions before implementation.
• Documentation and Project Management: Maintain comprehensive engineering documentation, provisional document lists, design schedules, and project KPIs to support transparent and efficient project execution.
• Budget and Schedule Oversight: Monitor engineering budgets, schedules, and quality metrics, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery of high-caliber solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

We are seeking a highly skilled **Control & Protection Design Engineer** with:

• Advanced Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution, complemented by a strong foundation in electrical systems and engineering principles.
• Extensive Industry Experience: A minimum of **8 years** of relevant experience in project or EPC environments, with a focus on transmission, distribution, STATCOM, or high-voltage substation projects. Experience with **Saudi Electricity Company (SEC)** is highly desirable, particularly within the Saudi Arabian market.
• Specialized Technical Knowledge: Deep expertise in substation control systems, protection schemes, low-voltage systems, electrical distribution, telecommunications, monitoring, and auxiliary services. Familiarity with synchronous condensers is considered an advantage.
