We are seeking a dedicated Bill Collector / Credit Clerk to join our team at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This role is integral to maintaining seamless financial operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism within our esteemed hospitality brand.

In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial records, resolving billing discrepancies, and fostering strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders. Your expertise will contribute directly to the financial integrity and operational excellence of our establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Accuracy and Compliance: Review, reconcile, and process bills, invoices, and account statements with meticulous attention to detail. Ensure all financial postings, documents, and records are accurate, organized, and securely maintained in compliance with company policies.
• Credit and Collections Management: Conduct thorough credit checks as directed and follow up on past-due accounts to ensure timely resolution. Manage check guarantee service accounts, including setup, maintenance, and reconciliation.
• Guest and Stakeholder Relations: Respond professionally to inquiries, disputes, and concerns from guests, Marriott’s Shared Service Center, credit card companies, and banks. Act as the primary point of contact for resolving billing issues and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare, maintain, and distribute financial reports, including statistical, accounting, and auditing documents. Analyze financial data to support decision-making and operational improvements.
• Process Optimization: Review and reconcile credit card vouchers, advance deposits, overpayments, cancellations, tax exemptions, and voucher-related invoices (e.g., Marriott Rewards and gift certificates). Streamline processes to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
• Employee Development and Policy Adherence: Assist in training, evaluating, and motivating team members while serving as a role model for our Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy. Uphold all company policies, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Customer-Centric Service: Anticipate and address the needs of guests with professionalism and empathy. Communicate clearly and accurately in both written and verbal formats, ensuring exceptional service standards are met.
• Collaborative Teamwork: Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. Contribute to a culture of inclusivity, respect, and continuous improvement within our global team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
• At least 2 years of related work experience in financial, accounting, or collections roles.
• 1 year of supervisory experience to support team development and mentorship.
• Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a commitment to professionalism and discretion.
• Familiarity with financial software, databases, and accounting principles is a significant advantage.
