Key Responsibilities

As the Cost Controller, you will be responsible for leading financial control initiatives across departments, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and transparency. Your role will encompass:

• Strategic Cost Management: Monitor and analyze departmental expenditures to identify cost variances, trends, and opportunities for optimization. Develop and implement robust cost control procedures to enhance financial efficiency and support long-term profitability.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and maintain detailed cost budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses, providing actionable insights to senior leadership and department heads. Generate comprehensive financial reports and statements to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Collaborative Cost Reduction: Partner with department managers to design and execute cost-reduction initiatives, process improvements, and efficiency enhancements. Leverage operational data to support pricing strategies and profitability assessments.
• Compliance and Accountability: Ensure strict adherence to company financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Investigate cost anomalies and recommend corrective actions to maintain financial integrity.
• Technical Proficiency: Utilize advanced accounting software, ERP systems (such as SAP), and Microsoft Excel to track, analyze, and report on financial performance. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial projections.
• Pre-Opening Excellence: Contribute to pre-opening coordination, scheduling, and document control, ensuring seamless financial readiness for the resort’s launch. Align financial processes with the brand’s ultra-luxury standards and guest expectations.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for a candidate with:

• 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting, financial control, or a related finance role, with a preference for hospitality or service industry experience.
• Proven expertise in managing departmental budgets, conducting variance analysis, and implementing cost optimization strategies.
• Advanced proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting methodologies, and accounting software (e.g., SAP, ERP systems).
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex financial data with precision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent communication abilities to translate financial insights for diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in process improvement and a track record of driving efficiency in high-stakes environments.
