الوصف الوظيفي
Join Our Dynamic Team as a CTAC Admin Assistant – Fixed Term Until 31 March 2027
At NHS Borders, we are proud to uphold our core values—compassion, kindness, integrity, teamwork, and excellence—as we deliver exceptional care and support to our communities. We are excited to invite enthusiastic and proactive individuals to play a pivotal role in our newly established NHS Borders Primary & Community Services (P&CS) Admin Hub, where your dedication will directly enhance the patient experience and operational efficiency of the Community Treatment and Care (CTAC) service.
As a CTAC Admin Assistant, you will be the backbone of our administrative operations, ensuring seamless coordination between patients, colleagues, and service providers. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a vital healthcare service while developing your skills in a supportive, collaborative environment. Whether you are at the beginning of your career or seeking to advance your professional journey, this role offers a platform to grow, influence meaningful change, and make a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve.
Key Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Telephone Handling: Providing professional, empathetic, and efficient communication to patients, colleagues, and external stakeholders, ensuring a positive experience for all.
- Appointment Coordination: Managing and scheduling appointments with precision, ensuring patients receive timely and appropriate care while maintaining accurate records.
- Patient Engagement: Welcoming patients with warmth and professionalism, addressing their needs with compassion and directing them to the appropriate resources.
- Cross-Team Support: Collaborating with colleagues across the CTAC service to streamline administrative processes, enhance workflow efficiency, and foster a cohesive team environment.
- Operational Assistance: Supporting various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the P&CS Hub, including data entry, filing, and general office management.
This role operates within a structured schedule, Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 17:00, with flexible working arrangements available to accommodate part-time commitments ranging from part-time hours up to 30 hours per week. While the primary base of operations is the NHS Borders Admin Hub at Newstead, the role may occasionally require travel to other administrative bases across the Borders region to support broader service needs.
