Key Responsibilities:

• Guest-Centric Maintenance: Respond promptly to guest repair requests and resolve electrical issues with efficiency and professionalism. Collaborate closely with guests to address concerns, ensuring their stay is seamless and memorable.
• Preventative and Corrective Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections, cleaning, and lubrication of tools and equipment to maintain optimal performance. Visually assess systems to identify potential issues before they escalate, minimizing downtime and enhancing operational efficiency.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols, security policies, and industry regulations. Report any hazards, accidents, or injuries immediately and complete mandatory safety training and certifications to ensure a secure work environment.
• Inventory and Procurement: Maintain accurate records of maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed to keep systems operational. Document unfinished tasks and handovers during shift transitions to ensure continuity.
• Emergency Preparedness: Identify and operate shut-off valves for equipment during emergencies, demonstrating quick thinking and decisive action to mitigate risks.
• Guest Engagement: Welcome and acknowledge all guests with warmth and professionalism, anticipating their needs and assisting individuals with disabilities with courtesy and discretion. Uphold the brand’s commitment to gracious hospitality, embodying the St. Regis ethos of anticipatory service.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all electrical work meets the highest quality standards, aligning with the brand’s reputation for excellence. Collaborate with the team to achieve common goals and foster a positive, inclusive work culture.
• Physical Demands: Perform tasks requiring mobility, including climbing stairs, service ramps, and ladders, as well as reaching overhead and below the knees. Lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds independently. Bending, twisting, and stooping may be required as part of the role.
• Professional Conduct: Maintain a clean, professional appearance and uphold the confidentiality of proprietary information. Protect company assets and communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests.
• Adaptability: Remain open to additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors to support the dynamic needs of the property.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: Formal training from a technical, trade, or vocational school is highly valued.
• Experience: At least two years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, ideally within a hospitality or high-end residential setting.
• Certifications: While not mandatory, relevant certifications in electrical work or safety training are a plus.
