We are now seeking a Senior Roads Engineer to join our Riyadh office and contribute to groundbreaking infrastructure projects that will shape the future of the region.

Your Impact

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the execution of high-caliber road and highway infrastructure projects. Your expertise will ensure that every element of our designs—from geometric layouts and traffic flow optimization to pavement engineering and intersection planning—meets the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and sustainability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines, to integrate road systems seamlessly into broader infrastructure developments. Additionally, you will serve as a technical mentor to junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Strategic Design Leadership: Lead the design and development of roads and highways, ensuring compliance with local regulations, international standards, and ARX’s commitment to excellence.
• Technical Expertise: Perform and review advanced engineering analyses, including road geometry, horizontal and vertical alignment, grading, pavement design, and traffic modeling to deliver robust, future-ready solutions.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with government authorities, clients, and other stakeholders to align project requirements with technical feasibility and regulatory frameworks.
• Cross-Disciplinary Coordination: Align road infrastructure with other project components, such as tunnels, bridges, and urban developments, ensuring cohesive and efficient project delivery.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed engineering reports, technical specifications, and deliverables to support project execution and compliance.
• Team Development: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, nurturing talent and driving innovation within the team.
• Innovation and Compliance: Stay abreast of emerging trends in road engineering and ensure all designs adhere to KSA’s stringent codes, standards, and authority requirements.
