Senior DevOps Engineer – Driving Operational Excellence and Engineering Velocity

We are seeking a visionary Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the transformation of our IT infrastructure and enterprise applications into highly available, secure, and scalable systems through automation, reliability engineering, and seamless collaboration between development and operations. Key Responsibilities

As the Senior DevOps Engineer, your responsibilities will span a broad spectrum of strategic and tactical initiatives, ensuring our systems are not only performant but also future-proof. Your focus will include:

  • Enhancing System Reliability: Own the design and implementation of operational reliability frameworks that minimize downtime, strengthen fault tolerance, and ensure enterprise applications and infrastructure remain stable under peak and normal conditions. Drive data-driven improvements to reduce preventable outages and enhance overall system resilience.
  • Automating Secure Delivery Pipelines: Lead the evolution of infrastructure and application delivery mechanisms, emphasizing automation, repeatability, and minimal manual intervention. Implement robust CI/CD pipelines, secure deployment strategies, and rigorous testing frameworks to accelerate delivery without compromising quality or security.
  • Scaling Infrastructure for Growth: Architect and refine scalable infrastructure patterns that align with business demands, ensuring systems can handle increased usage, complexity, and demand without disproportionate operational effort. Optimize resource allocation and infrastructure-as-code practices to support seamless scaling.
  • Fostering DevOps Collaboration: Act as a bridge between development and operations teams, establishing clear workflows, handoff processes, and technical guardrails that enable faster, more efficient delivery while preserving system integrity. Champion a culture of shared ownership and accountability across the software lifecycle.
  • Strengthening Security Posture: Embed security best practices into every phase of the infrastructure and application lifecycle, including secure configuration management, compliance enforcement, and disciplined change governance. Ensure operational controls are integrated into daily engineering workflows to mitigate risks proactively.
  • Mitigating Operational Risks: Identify and remediate single points of failure, environment inconsistencies, and fragile processes that could disrupt operations. Drive proactive improvements in resilience, disaster recovery, and incident response capabilities.
  • Enhancing Observability and Decision-Making: Champion the implementation of comprehensive observability tools and practices, ensuring systems generate actionable telemetry, alerts, and service-level metrics. Enable teams to detect issues early, respond effectively, and prioritize reliability investments with confidence.
  • Empowering Development Teams: Provide a dependable infrastructure foundation, standardized deployment pathways, and operational support models that reduce friction in the software development lifecycle. Enable developers to focus on innovation while relying on robust, self-service operational capabilities.
  • Driving Continuous Improvement: Use real-world data—such as incident reports, recurring issues, and delivery bottlenecks—to iteratively refine processes, tooling, and architecture. Lead initiatives that foster a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.
  • Leading Container Orchestration: Take ownership of the deployment, health monitoring, and lifecycle management of Container Orchestration platforms (e.g., OpenShift/Kubernetes), ensuring alignment with organizational goals and best practices. Optimize cluster performance, security, and scalability to support mission-critical workloads.
  • Managing Mixed-Environment Portfolios: Oversee a diverse portfolio of operating systems and environments, ensuring consistency, performance, and security across hybrid or multi-cloud deployments. Drive standardization and automation to reduce complexity and operational overhead.
