Your Impact

As a Senior Dry Utilities Engineer at ARX, you will be at the forefront of designing and optimizing critical dry utility systems—including power distribution, telecommunications, and street lighting—across large-scale infrastructure projects. Your expertise will ensure seamless integration of these systems into broader project designs, aligning with regulatory standards, technical excellence, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Design and Leadership: Lead the conceptualization, planning, and execution of dry utility systems for diverse infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholder requirements.
• Technical Excellence: Perform and oversee engineering calculations, network designs, cable sizing, and other critical analyses to guarantee the reliability and performance of dry utility systems. Stay ahead of industry advancements and apply them to enhance project outcomes.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to local KSA regulations, international standards, and utility authority requirements, mitigating risks and ensuring smooth project approvals.
• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, structural engineers, and other specialists to integrate dry utilities seamlessly into comprehensive project designs. Coordinate utility corridors, crossings, connections, and interfaces to optimize functionality and efficiency.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans, and documentation, ensuring clarity and precision for all stakeholders. Review technical deliverables from junior engineers, designers, and BIM/CAD teams to uphold the highest standards of quality.
• Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Provide expert guidance to junior engineers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within ARX.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a technical liaison with government authorities, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and alignment with project goals.

Qualifications and Experience

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional with the following qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on dry utility systems (power, telecommunications, street lighting). At least 3 years of direct experience within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is mandatory.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of dry utility design principles, construction practices, and system integration. Proficiency in industry-leading software such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and specialized electrical design tools.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Extensive understanding of KSA’s utility codes, standards, and requirements from relevant authorities, ensuring compliance and project success.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in Arabic is highly advantageous and will be valued in our local context.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Proven ability to lead technical teams, mentor junior professionals, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
