We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect with deep expertise in VMware technologies, infrastructure modernization, and AI platform enablement to play a pivotal role in shaping strategic sales opportunities across the Middle East. This dynamic role blends technical leadership with presales engagement, positioning you as a trusted advisor to clients and a subject matter expert within Rackspace.

In this high-impact position, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Solutions, and Delivery teams to architect scalable, secure, and future-proof solutions that address the most complex challenges in datacenter modernization, virtualization, hybrid cloud, disaster recovery, and AI platform transformation. Your work will extend beyond traditional infrastructure to include the design of GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) platforms, model inference, and fine-tuning capabilities—orchestrated through Kubernetes and integrated seamlessly with VMware’s ecosystem. These solutions will often form the backbone of comprehensive engagements, spanning managed services, security, networking, data platforms, and application modernization.

As a senior technical leader, your responsibilities will encompass:

• Building Trusted Partnerships: Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, bridging the gap between business objectives and technical execution. Engage with executives and technical stakeholders to align solutions with long-term vision and growth initiatives.
• Driving Customer Workshops: Lead immersive sessions focused on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), vSphere, NSX, VMware Aria Suite, and Tanzu, as well as AI platform strategies. Educate clients on private cloud adoption, hybrid cloud architectures, and platform transformation while addressing their evolving needs in AI-driven innovation.
• Designing Next-Gen AI Solutions: Architect AI platforms that leverage GPUaaS, model serving, and fine-tuning atop VMware Private AI Foundation, integrating NVIDIA vGPU, Multi-Instance GPU (MIG), and AMD Instinct accelerators. Ensure seamless orchestration through Kubernetes (VMware Tanzu/TKG) while addressing scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
• Building Resilient AI Stacks: Design the full AI serving and training infrastructure, including inference servers, MLOps tooling (e.g., NVIDIA Triton, KServe, Ray, Kubeflow), GPU scheduling, and multi-tenancy models. Implement robust CI/CD pipelines for models to ensure agility and operational excellence.
• Embedding AI Governance: Integrate comprehensive guardrails and governance frameworks into AI platform designs, encompassing policy enforcement, content filtering, PII/data-loss prevention, and alignment with responsible AI principles. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as ISO/IEC 42001, EU AI Act, and NCSC guidance, particularly for sovereign and highly regulated customers.
• Ensuring High Availability and Security: Architect solutions prioritizing resilience, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery, including GPU node-pool failover, training checkpointing, and continuity for stateful inference services. Implement stringent security measures such as network micro-segmentation (NSX), confidential computing, encryption, and secure supply chains to safeguard models, data, and identities.
• Future-Proofing Architectures: Assess customer requirements holistically, designing solutions that not only meet current needs but also anticipate future business evolution. Drive innovation in hybrid cloud, AI integration, and platform transformation to position clients at the forefront of digital transformation.
