Our team collaborates with developers, property owners, consultants, contractors, and investors to deliver flawless project handovers while identifying defects, verifying compliance, and enhancing building performance.

In this dynamic and impactful role, you will leverage your expertise in mechanical systems to conduct rigorous inspections, support testing and commissioning (T&C) activities, and provide technical leadership to ensure projects meet or exceed project specifications, Saudi Building Code requirements, and international standards. Your contributions will directly influence the safety, efficiency, and longevity of critical infrastructure, making a tangible difference in the built environment.

Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Mechanical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Comprehensive Mechanical System Inspections: Perform detailed inspections of HVAC systems, plumbing, drainage, firefighting installations, LPG systems, pumps, mechanical rooms, ventilation, and associated control systems. Assess installation quality, workmanship, functionality, accessibility, and maintainability to ensure full compliance with project requirements and approved documentation.
• Technical Compliance & Defect Identification: Verify contractor works against project specifications, IFC drawings, shop drawings, BOQs, approved materials, and applicable codes. Identify defects, incomplete works, and non-compliance issues, preparing thorough snag lists and overseeing de-snagging processes until resolution.
• Testing & Commissioning (T&C) Support: Actively participate in T&C activities, reviewing test results, commissioning records, and system performance. Evaluate method statements, inspection plans, testing procedures, and commissioning plans to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Technical Documentation Review: Scrutinize mechanical shop drawings, coordination drawings, as-built documentation, material submittals, technical data sheets, O&M manuals, warranties, and project close-out documentation. Identify coordination issues and potential clashes between mechanical, electrical, architectural, structural, and other building services.
• Contractor & Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, project managers, and client representatives to resolve technical and site-related challenges. Provide clear, actionable technical feedback on defects, discrepancies, and corrective actions.
• Reporting & Documentation: Compile professional inspection reports, snagging/de-snagging reports, T&C observations, technical assessments, progress reports, and project trackers. Present findings in technical and progress meetings with all project stakeholders.
• Project Oversight & Leadership: Monitor outstanding observations and corrective actions, ensuring timely closure. Support project planning, inspection scheduling, and resource coordination while providing mentorship to junior inspectors and team members.
