Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and enhance our daily warehouse operations. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in ensuring the efficient flow of goods through receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching while maintaining strict adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: Assist in managing day-to-day warehouse activities, including the receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods, to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, conduct regular stock audits, and perform cycle counts to identify discrepancies or shortages. Report findings to the Warehouse Manager to facilitate timely corrective actions.
• Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are properly documented in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Uphold standard operating procedures (SOPs) to guarantee compliance with safety and quality benchmarks.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or other machinery. Comprehensive training will be provided for any unfamiliar equipment to ensure operational proficiency.
• Process Optimization: Collaborate with the management team to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing space utilization, workflow efficiency, and overall productivity.
• Safety and Organization: Foster a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment by adhering to safety protocols and promoting best practices among team members.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is considered advantageous.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in warehouse operations, preferably within a retail or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment, is essential.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control practices is preferred, though training may be provided for specific systems.
• Physical Requirements: The ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs or more) and stand for extended periods is necessary to meet the demands of the role.
• Soft Skills: Demonstrated attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and excellent communication skills are critical for effective collaboration and problem-solving within the team.
• Flexibility: The capacity to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as operational needs dictate, is required to support a dynamic warehouse environment.
